Embedded within all curriculum subjects, children are taught to use technology safely and respectfully keeping their personal information private.
Implementation:
In Key Stage One, the main scheme used for Computing is taken from the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE). Their vision is for every child in every school in England to have a world-leading computing education. The National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) is funded by the Department for Education and supporting partners, and marks a significant investment in improving the provision of computing education in England.
In Key Stage One, pupils receive an hourly lesson per week to learn and practice a new computing skill.
